June 2, 2023 -Texas Based Senior Living Operator and Developer, Ridgeline Management Company, continues to expand its footprint across the nation as they welcome two more 66 bed secured memory care communities to its portfolio effective June 1st. The experienced operators solidified a 15-year master lease with CareTrust REIT, Inc. (NYSE:CTRE): Preserve at Beavercreek, now The Ridge at Beavercreek, 2580 Hibiscus Way, Beavercreek, OH 45431 and Robinwood Landing, now The Ridge at Lansing, 1634 Lake Lansing RD, Lansing MI 48912.
Ridgeline took over operations at the facilities from the outgoing operator on June 1, 2023. “The experience of Ridgeline’s principals in operating communities similar to these, together with their passion for providing meaningful, impactful care to seniors made them an ideal fit to operate these facilities,” remarked James Callister, CareTrust’s Chief Investment Officer.
Commenting on the relationship with CareTrust, Ridgeline’s CEO John Safrans stated, “Our relationship with CareTrust’s executive team is unique in its strength and in its mutual trust. We are confident that these facilities will be the foundation of a long-term, successful relationship moving forward.” Eric Gillis, CareTrust’s SVP Investments also stated that, “We are delighted to enter into a new relationship with the talent and experience of Ridgeline and we look forward to identifying future opportunities for growth with them.”
The most recent acquisition brings their total operating communities to 22 assets across TX, UT, CA, OR, WA, AZ, CO, WI, IN, NJ, MI, and OH, for a total unit count of 1,495 (504 MC, 724 AL, 209 IL). With several projects in the pipeline, the company projects to exceed a unit count of 2,000 by the end of Q3.
