Each quarter we honor an outstanding team member nominated by their community administrator with the Rock Star award. The Rock Star program is for our communities to highlight members of their staff who have made an extraordinary contribution over a quarter of the year. This program recognizes outstanding achievement, contribution, betterment of the community, betterment of the quality of life for the residents, resident families, quality of the working environment for their co-workers, and embodiment of the company’s core values. An annual Rock Star winner is selected from our quarterly winners, who is then awarded a week of paid vacation at a Florida resort for themselves and a companion.

In 2010, during our annual conference in a small coastal town in Oregon, our home office staff and administrators all gathered and discussed our values, as a company. From this incredible meeting of the minds, emerged our seven core values.
