Dennis Garboden is co-founder, owner, and president of Ridgeline Management Company. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
Mr. Garboden has worked in senior housing since 1992. He has overseen the growth of Ridgeline Management since its inception in 2002. The growth of Ridgeline has included the acquisition of senior housing properties, as well as the development and construction of assisted living and memory care communities.
Mr. Garboden has assembled a talented team at Ridgeline that shares his vision and enthusiasm for elder living. Ridgeline Management has established name recognition in the senior housing industry as an innovator of exceptional care for residents and as an excellent operator of senior housing communities.
Dr. McGlade is co-founder, owner, and Chief Executive Officer of Ridgeline. He attended Johns Hopkins University (Phi Beta Kappa) and Cornell University Medical College (Alpha Omega Alpha).
His radiology residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship were completed at UCLA, where he has also served as Chief Resident. Dr. McGlade was Medical Director for the Department of Radiology at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene, Oregon from 1993 - 2003 and remains a partner in Radiology Associates. Being the founder and managing partner of a commercial real estate development company has enhanced his healthcare background and afforded Dr. McGlade a unique perspective on senior care.
At Ridgeline, he has overseen the financial and budgetary process and has strived to position Ridgeline as peerless in the senior housing market. Envisioning an environment that nurtures individual expression and growth, he is a passionate advocate of innovative programming and has helped redesign the architectural elements necessary to complement this paradigm shift.
Will Forsyth is Ridgeline's General Counsel. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Notre Dame in 1993. Mr. Forsyth was an all-American tennis player at Notre Dame while receiving his degree. He then graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 1999 from the University of Oregon.
Mr. Forsyth joined Ridgeline in April of 2006 after serving as the company's primary outside attorney since Ridgeline's formation in 2002. Prior to joining the Ridgeline team, he was a partner at Hershner Hunter, LLP; a Eugene, Oregon-based business law firm.
At Ridgeline, Mr. Forsyth works primarily in the areas of business transactions, financing, and investor relations, as well as providing legal counsel and oversight to Ridgeline's day-to-day operations.
Myrna Dorfman joined Ridgeline in 2003 and is Director of Business Operations. Ms. Dorfman is a graduate of City College of New York (CCNY).
Her experience includes a successful needs assessment and grant writing which resulted in the creation of the Community Health Center of Lane County, Riverstone Clinic. Ms. Dorfman was the Director of Volunteer Coordination for the Eugene Celebration's 1200 volunteers. She has real estate sales experience in Chicago, Illinois and served as the Director of Operations for a start-up fashion business in New York City.
Ms. Dorfman oversees the licensing needs of individual communities, development organization, and interior decorating of all new developments.
Jean Garboden has been the Chief Operations Officer for Ridgeline since 2004. Ms. Garboden has over 20 years of prior operational experience as the Director of Business Services at two large tertiary hospitals. Her expertise in operational process improvement, customer service, employee development, and budget management brings sound applicable knowledge to Ridgeline.
She is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of retirement, assisted living, and memory care communities nationwide. Mrs. Garboden is a licensed administrator in Oregon, an Eden Alternative™ Educator.
Jennifer Cranford joined Ridgeline Management Company in 2005 as Chief Financial Officer. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri.
Mrs. Cranford has experience in public and private accounting. She performed tax and audit work for a regional accounting firm in Springfield, Missouri before becoming an Assistant Controller for a large manufacturing company in Jefferson City, Missouri. In this capacity, she oversaw the day-to-day accounting functions of the company and prepared monthly and annual financial statements.
Mrs. Cranford oversees all accounting procedures including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions. She has a key role in producing monthly financial statements for community investors.
Louise Bates joined Ridgeline in 2004 as an Administrator of assisted living and later became a Regional Director in 2005. Mrs. Bates graduated from Colorado Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Organized Management and Human Resources Management. She has over 25 years of experience in senior living, and has multi-site management background in the area of operations.
She is responsible for managing the operational needs and essential support to administrators of Ridgeline's assisted living communities. Mrs. Bates is active in several industry associations including the Colorado Health Care Assisted Living Committee, Rotary, Adult Day Care board, and is an Eden Alternative™ Educator.
John Follett is Ridgeline's Financial Analyst and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University in 1996. In 2006, Mr. Follett received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business through the Oregon Executive MBA Program.
Mr. Follett worked in Marketing and Management for a regional health insurer for 9 years, specializing in employee benefits. He currently sits on the finance committee of a large local non-profit and is active in Lion's Club.
Mr. Follett joined Ridgeline Management Company in May of 2007 and oversees all aspects of expense management and vendor contracts for the communities.
Jill Krupoff joined Ridgeline in 2008 as the Administrator of an assisted living and memory care community. She became Regional Director in early 2010. Ms. Krupoff graduated from the University of Oregon with honors earning a Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology. In 2002, Ms. Krupoff earned a Masters of Science in Gerontology from the University of Southern California.
Ms. Krupoff has worked in senior housing since 2002. Ms. Krupoff began her senior housing career as an Administrator in assisted living. Since that time, she has also worked in independent living and memory care. Ms. Krupoff volunteers on the Education Committee for the Oregon state culture change coalition called MOVE – Making Oregon Vital for Elders. She taught a course for the Successful Aging Institute through Lane Community College located in Eugene, OR. Additionally, Ms. Krupoff is an Eden Alternative™ Associate.
Ms. Krupoff is responsible for managing the operational needs and providing essential support to administrators of Ridgeline's assisted living and memory care communities.
Linda Loux has been with the company since June 2006 and is currently Ridgeline's Accounts Payable Specialist. She studied business administration at Oregon State University. Ms. Loux is responsible for all accounts payable duties.
Prior to working at Ridgeline, Ms. Loux worked in the banking industry for 30 years, both in banking operations and commercial real estate banking.
Vanessa Terry joined Ridgeline in May 2006 as Payroll Specialist. She graduated from Willamette High in 2002. Ms. Terry is responsible for all payroll-related duties for all of Ridgeline's communities. Previously, Ms. Terry worked at a local trucking company as their Staff Accountant. Her responsibilities included daily billings, calculating fuel surcharges, and handling fuel taxes.
Ms. Terry has completed the Fundamentals of Payroll course offered by the American Payroll Association
April Burleigh joined the Ridgeline team in August 2007 as Accounts Receivable Specialist. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting and a minor in History. Ms. Burleigh is responsible for working with all communities to ensure resident rents and accounts are current and handled accurately.
Previously, Ms. Burleigh worked in pricing for a construction distribution company.
