Dr. Chuck McGlade, CEO

Dr. McGlade is the founder and CEO of Ridgeline. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University and Cornell University Medical College with honors.
He was Chief Resident at UCLA, Medical Director for the Department of Radiology at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene, Oregon for ten years and remains a partner in Radiology Associates.

His expertise is not confined to the medical field. He gained greater technology knowledge serving on the board of a local software firm. He is also managing partner of a commercial real estate group which has enhanced his knowledge of architecture and development. His exposure to these varied fields, together with his extensive medical background has afforded Dr. McGlade a unique perspective on the broad spectrum of senior care.

As CEO, he has overseen the financial, budgetary process and has been the driving force to position Ridgeline as peerless in the senior housing market. He is a visionary who nurtures individual growth in the team, is a passionate advocate of innovative programming and has been instrumental in achieving this paradigm shift in the senior living industry.


LisaAnn R Shelton, President and Chief Operating Officer

LisaAnn began as President and Chief Operating Officer for Ridgeline in 2013. Her passion for working with seniors started as a teen when she volunteered in a senior community and now her professional career in the field has spanned three decades.

Lisa's extensive senior living experience includes divisional work for a nationwide company, fifteen years as a Vice President for another firm working in multiple states and COO of a regional company including retirement, assisted living, memory care and campus properties with rehab centers and nursing homes.

She owned and operated her own consulting business helping management companies, owners and operators of senior living properties in multiple states with new development, licensing, acquisitions, regulatory compliance, financial goals and operational audits. She has developed curriculum and taught the administrator certification classes for Washington Health Care Association. Lisa feels blessed to enjoy an active life with her husband, John, their two sons and dog.


John Ray, Divisional Director of Operations

John has twelve years in multi-site operations. His strong beliefs and passion to have a positive impact on the lives of the residents he serves, brought him to Assisted Living eight years ago. This passion drives him to create happy and dedicated teams that share that belief. John works with a team of Regional Operations Directors and their Administrator team to deliver the Ridgeline Mission within the communities. He joined the Ridgeline team in 2016. John has four wonderful children and an amazing, beautiful wife.


Jenny Bickler, Director of Finance

Jenny joined Ridgeline in February 2016. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Washington University and has spent nearly her entire career in the healthcare industry working in various finance and operational roles. For 17 years, she worked in the senior living and long term care industry serving in auditor, controller, and CFO roles for both national and regional companies. She then moved into medical practice management where she managed specialty clinic practices throughout the Portland metro region. Jenny appreciates the opportunity to return to senior living and claims "it feels like home". She is happily married and has one daughter.


Chris Welsh, Director of Human Resources

Chris has over two decades of experience in human resources management, with ten plus years as Human Resources Director for Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. Chris is responsible for employment-related regulatory requirements and policies, employee relations, recruitment, training, and benefit administration. 


Karilee Baird, Director of Innovation and Education

Karilee began her career in Senior Living at the age of sixteen, and quickly realized her passion for seniors. In her new role as Director of Innovation and Education, Karilee brings a wealth of experience, having worked for Ridgeline management since 2005. Through the last two decades, Karilee has served as a successful community Administrator, Sales & Marketing Director, Business Office Manager, and Activities Director. Karilee wholeheartedly supports Ridgeline’s mission and core values and feels privileged to be part of a company so dedicated to honoring seniors.


Jill Chuculate-Welch, Director of Sales & Marketing

Jill’s passion for serving seniors carved her path into the senior living industry more than 10 years ago. Starting as a sales leader at a senior living community Jill grew occupancy and revenue which lead to her being nationally recognized for her successes in occupancy growth. Fueled by her experience and success she moved forward with her career taking leadership roles within the senior living industry, managing sales teams throughout Oregon and Washington.

Jill has a proven record of exceeding expectations, shortening sales cycles, developing strong sales leaders and increasing occupancy and revenue.With her industry knowledge, and her passion for seniors Jill is committed to making a difference every day in the lives of those she serves.

Jill’s drive and love for seniors is only second to her incredible family. Her husband Derek and three amazing kids, inspire her to be her best in all she does.


Jana Richmond, Director of Wellness at Home

Jana’s extensive background in nursing and senior care serve her well as she manages the development of Ridgeline’s innovative new sister company, Wellness at Home, an in home health care service. She began her career at the Kaiser Foundation School of Nursing and rapidly moved into leadership roles within the senior living field. Jana has worked as a community administrator, a senior regional director and a hospice program manager among many responsible roles in this arena. She served on the Oregon Health Care Association board and was honored in 1991 as the Administrator of the year by OHCA. Jana’s approach and philosophy regarding senior care is to treat residents like one’s own parents or grandparents. Jana is blessed with a large extended family, whom she loves to spend time with. She is a voracious reader and loves to play with her dogs


Candice Salas, Regional Director-Central

In her new role, Candice oversees the operations of the managed communities in the central region. She is also responsible for ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, licensing, regulations, and customer satisfaction. Candice manages with the Ridgeline mission in mind, “creating environments where moments of joy, independence and wellness are the focus each and every day.” Candice has a background in the long-term care setting, working as a Director of Social Services in a nursing home before serving as the Administrator of Garden Square of Greeley for several years. She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She is Eden Certified, and has a passion for the seniors she serves. Before working with seniors, Candice was an advocate and case manager for children. In moving to serve seniors, she realized this is where her heart is. She is married with three children and spends much of her free time with her family, which she feels is precious.


Meka Scotchler, Office Manager/Executive Assistant

Meka joined Ridgeline in late 2014. Her background is in Commercial Property Management. Meka's passion for seniors started as a teen, when she toured senior living communities with a choir group. She is LisaAnn's assistant, is also responsible for community licensing and the smooth running of the West Linn office. She has two lovely daughters.


Constance Barr, Communications Specialist

Connie's empathy for seniors became years ago while volunteering in an Assisted Living Center with her children, prompting her to became a certified Activities Director. Her background is diverse, but is largely in commercial credit and retail management. She joined the Ridgeline team in early 2014, and is responsible for marketing, including websites, resident surveys, branding, and social media presence. Connie is happily married to her soul mate, has three grown children and six grandchildren.


Kassandra Peabody, Policy & Procedure Coordinator

Kassie joined Ridgeline in 2015, coming from a large law office. She is responsible for updating policies and procedures. Kassie is the cheerful face and voice of the West Linn office. In her free time, she enjoys family time and sporting events.


Regi Byler Benefits Administrator

Regi started with Ridgeline in June of 2016 and is responsible for the administration of the benefit plans for all of the properties.  She began her Human Resources career in 1999 working for a small non-profit hospital. This was where she discovered that Employee Benefits was her favorite area of HR. She enjoyed serving the caregivers and staff of the facility. She gained enormous respect and appreciation for them because of their compassion and dedication to their patients. Creating relationships of trust with the staff was her constant goal.
Regi and her 2 sons, the loves of her life, recently relocated back to her hometown in Oregon after being out of state for many years. Her boys keep her busy, with one pursuing a new career and the other just starting 2nd grade.

Accounting Team


Lindsey Anderson, Senior Accountant

Lindsey joined the team in 2016. She manages financial reporting and special projects for assigned communities. Lindsey has 15 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry. In her free time, she relishes time with family, knitting, and loves outdoor activities. She is happily married to her soulmate and has a precocious, young son to keep her on her toes.


Nick McKelvey, Senior Accountant

Nick came to Ridgeline in 2016. He manages financial reporting and special projects for assigned communities.  Nick received his Bachelors in Business Administration from Western Oregon University with a Masters in Accounting from Sam Houston State University.  He has 3 years’ experience in property management of student housing apartment complexes.  Nick is happily married and has a young daughter who keeps them both busy.  He enjoys spending time with family, going to parks, and walking his dogs.  He also enjoys watching sports such as basketball and football and playing sports, especially basketball and soccer.


Christina Faria, Payroll Administrator

Christina joined the Ridgeline team in 2016 bringing both internal and client-based payroll experience to the multi-faceted world of senior living management. With a Bachelors of Economics from Marquette University, she is up for the challenges of managing both corporate and community payrolls. Christina is happy to be back in Oregon where she enjoys the outdoors during all seasons of the year.


Verna Paulson, Accounts Payable

Verna came to Ridgeline in 2016 and patiently handles accounts payable for an array of our managed properties. Her upbeat attitude serves her well in interacting with both Home Office co-workers and the teams in the field.
She is a great example of health and fitness for the RMC team. Verna is a native Oregonian, is happily married and has two grown children.


Craig Gawryczik, Accounting Specialist

In 2016, Craig joined the accounting team. He handles the accounts payable and payroll for assigned communities. He received his Associate Degree in Accounting from Champlain College in Burlington, VT and his Bachelors in Accounting from University of Western Colorado.  Craig's interests include running, climbing and hiking.  He is married and is the proud dad of two young children.
