At Chateau Gardens Memory Care, we strive to find new ways of working with elders with Alzheimer’s and other age-related dementias so they may retain their independence as long as possible. That’s why we are Alzheimer’s endorsed by the State of Oregon and on our way to becoming the first Eden Alternative® certified assisted living residence in Oregon! Additionally, we have begun the journey, along with Ridgeline Management, in training our staff in Validation®: The Feil Method. Validation is a means of communicating with those with dementia, allowing them to express their feelings in a welcoming and trusting environment.
