Wellness

Health and wellness are a part of every day life in Ridgeline communities.  We train resident assistants and medication assistants to closely monitor changes in conditions of residents; to look for negative or different side effects to prescribed medications; and to report any such changes to the nurse, administrator, and physician immediately. 

Our Health and Wellness Services Coordinators work side by side with nurses, families, and resident physicians to determine the appropriate level of services for each individual and tailor each task to their needs and desires.  Before moving in, a conference is held with a community representative, the resident, and their family just for this purpose. Shortly after move-in, the conference is held again to discuss whether the services originally set are still appropriate or if adjustments need to be made. Thereafter, a conference is held quarterly or with a significant change of condition to help ensure services rendered remain appropriate for the individual.  We believe this schedule of conferences promotes consistent and open communication between the resident, staff, and family regarding the resident's needs and desires.
